1947 Roseville Snowberry Tea Set

1947 Roseville Snowberry Tea Set

This set is from the Snowberry mold, containing 50 item types. The pieces boast matte glazing, which was en vogue for American fine art pottery at the time. Just like all authentic Roseville pieces, these were hand-painted by an individual artist. The coloring is primarily a peachy-pink glaze that highlights the blossoms and branches that span each piece. The maker’s mark is visible on each piece: the teapot is marked “1TP”, the sugar bowl is marked “1S”, and the creamer is marked “1C”. For a bit more about Roseville pottery, click here.
