The Description:

The vessel boasts a matte glaze, which was en vogue for American fine art pottery at the time. Just like all authentic Roseville pieces, this vase was hand-painted by an individual artist. The glazing is primarily a cool mauve and kelly green with other touches of warm peach and yellow-green to emphasize the vase’s shape and blossom motif.

Roseville’s maker’s mark is visible, and below it reads “994-18”, indicating the type of item within the White Rose pattern (994) and the height of the item in inches (18).

This floor vase stands 18.75 inches high x 13 inches wide at its widest point.

The Concept:

This vessel may be used functionally or it may be used decoratively. It is a highly collectible item, and is desirable to collectors of all levels. It pairs well with other Roseville pieces and complementary wares made by other manufacturers of collectable fine art pottery. The piece’s polished silhouette allows the it to integrate seamlessly into traditional styling, modern décor, and everything in between.
