Vintage Silver Interlocking Herringbone Chain Necklace

Vintage Silver Interlocking Herringbone Chain Necklace

This delicate chain is considered to be in the herringbone style, wherein the chain lies flat against the wearer’s skin. The flattened pattern forms an interlocking faceted sequence, thus catching the light more intensely than a typical chain necklace. It is silver-plated, which proves cooler in color and brighter in shine than white gold. The reverse side of the chain that falls right at the top of the sternum has the slightest bit of wear, though completely invisible when worn.
