Victorian Dakota Glass Apothecary Jar

Victorian Dakota Glass Apothecary Jar

Made in the early 1900s for pharmacies, drugstores and general stores, this jar is made of pressed glass. Its accompanying lid is original, with a ground rim that better grips the interior of the jar lip. The lid features a Dakota glass pattern, with round, raised bumps encircling the knob to allow the user a better hold when in use. The jar is square and smaller, perfect for kitchen storage of grains or pet treats, or bathroom storage of cotton pads, swabs, or contact lenses.
