Post-1950 F.B. Rogers Silver-Plate Lotus Centerpiece

Post-1950 F.B. Rogers Silver-Plate Lotus Centerpiece

This centerpiece is unobtrusive in scale, feminine in structure, and harkens to the organic shapes of the Art Nouveau era. It features three candlestick holders equally spaced around a bulbous open lotus flower with twelve pointed petals. The bowl rests on three delicate pedestal feet, each decorated by a very modest cluster of grapes. The whole piece is silver-plated, likely over copper, and is a more affordable option to solid silver.
