French Edwardian Glass Perfume Bottle with Faceted Stopper

French Edwardian Glass Perfume Bottle with Faceted Stopper

This beautiful glass perfume bottle and stopper are an original pair from the late Victorian, early Edwardian period. The glass is thick and weighty, giving the bottle a sturdy feel. The stopper is facted to resemble a simplified, stylized diamond stone, and the neck of the stopper is treated with a ground glass technique to better grip the bottle when closed. The bottle has some clouding, though the effect of this time is nothing but romantic.

The pair is incredibly lovely, and make for a classic touch to any decor in the powder room and living room alike. Style with your other nostalgic heirlooms, near a window to reflect the sunlight, in a restroom with your feminine finds, or add to your collection of whimsical curiosities.
