1930s English Sugar Bowl with Gilt Rose Motif

1930s English Sugar Bowl with Gilt Rose Motif

This charming antique sugar bowl is petite in stature and feminine in design. It features a simplistic floral motif, with a double band on the bowl of the set and another on the lid, as well as a rosebud shaped handle on the lid. The lid also has a small crescent shaped void along one side, allowing for a small serving spoon to sit without shifting the lid from the bowl. The design is highlighted by gilt outlining, adding a bit of elegance to an otherwise mundane object. Use as intended for entertaining brunches and tea, or use as a treasure box, gift to the little one in your life, or display with your other objets d'intérêt.
